and Islamic holidays as well as Moon phases in a list. Or easily add them into your Calendar/DateBook.
Descriptions too. Includes new Daylight Saving Time dates that started in

HoliDates is a holiday application that not only adds holidays to your
Palm Treo, Centro or PDA, but
allows you to see upcoming, past and distant future holidays all in one place.
Even if you already have some holidays within your Calendar, this feature is
worth the price alone. No more having to go through your Calendar one day at a
time to see what's coming up next month.
You'll want to add the holidays
into Calendar as well. Choose the categories of holidays to add to Calendar.
Click Install. They're added. Change your mind, click Remove and out of Calendar
they come.
Most of us live and work in culturally diverse environments. HoliDates makes
it easy to become aware of important holidays for friends, co-workers and clients.
They'll be excited when you share in their holidays. And they'll be
appreciative when you schedule around them.
HoliDates features allow you to:
View 2006-2015 holidays and moon phases as a yearly list within
HoliDates
View one or more categories of holidays at a time
Easily add/remove holidays into/from your Calendar
Within Calendar, holidays can be added as either
untimed or timed events (perfect for desktop calendars that can't work
with untimed events).
Add holidays into your calendar application's category
of your choice (if category support is available).
Most of the religious holidays include descriptions
Add your own notes to each holiday within HoliDates
Holiday Info screen shows you the date and day for the
holiday, how much time is left until it occurs and your notes
Links from HoliDates to Calendar for holidays that were
added.
Use the Palm Global Find tool to rapidly find holidays anytime.

I like HoliDates alot, because I would like to see e.g when Ash Wednesday, Easter. Memorial Day, or Thanksgiving would fall fall on in the future e.g. in the year 2010, or even the year 2020.

A really great software, everyone's datebook should have holidays in them - and this is the software that delivers them!
Only thing missing is choosing languages, it could be really nice to have the holidays in a different language. Even if that means that the user edits the names of the holidays himself once - and they change for all the next years. Especially the Muslim and Hebrew holidays, or even the Canadian. If Arabic, Hebrew and French were options - that could just really be super!

Simply check off your picks from six complete lists broken down by category: U.S./Major Religious; Canadian/Major Religious; Christian; Jewish; Muslim; Hindu. And it's just as easy to add or remove holidays in the future.
This is classic Palm software at its very best: an easy-to-use and inexpensive app that really simplifies the scheduling of your life.
Forget the freeware apps that clutter your Datebook with every "holiday" imaginable... HoliDates is the best ten bucks I've spent in a while.

Works as advertised. I was hesitant to pay money for an application that "only" gave me holidays. But the organization of the app is nice, and I really like the fact that _removing_ holidays is just as easy as adding them. Interface and installation are excellent. Also, it should be noted that the service through PalmGear/PalmSource was very quick. I received my registration in minutes.
