After trying out some of its competitiors, without much luck, I thought I'd give NeatFreak a spin. Wow! I wish I'd done my research more thoroughly. It would have saved me countless resets with the other utilities I tried out.
An easy, intuitive interface and rock-solid performance make this the king of uninstallers. I was absoutely blown away by the Sandbox feature. It has already saved my bacon once. You'd also be surprised by how many applications install stuff in places they really shouldn't.
I can't recommaned this software enough. It takes pride of place alongside BackupBuddy VFS, MobiPocket Pro and NoviiRemote Deluxe as one of my all-time favourite Palm apps. A must-have.

An essential app! In just the past week or so it's gotten me out of jam, and cleaned house on my T5.
First, I had downloaded a trial app that I could NOT delete via Palm OS menu nor through ZLauncher file manager--kept getting error that was equivalent of "file in use". Uninstall Manager got rid of it. It even knew enough to ask to delete the associated folder on my card. That's cool.
Then I used Cleanup to help me get rid of the pieces left over from apps I uninstalled BEFORE I installed NeatFreak. Again, very cool.

Exceptional software! An example: I downloaded a program that crashed my T3 every time I tried to open the launcher application. I could re-set, but not access anything except what I have mapped to the hard buttons. I have Uninstall mapped to one, thankfully. Opened Uninstall, deleted the offending program, and no more crashes. Had I not purchased Neatfreak Pack and mapped uninstall to a hard button, I would have to had done a hard re-set, and loose much data as I had not backed up for 2 days. It's nice to know I can keep my Palm clean and conflict free.

I've been using Palm OS daily since 1998 and have used an embarassing number of softwares over that time frame. I RARELY leave comments here.
Never have I been as impressed by thoughtful, functional software as I have been with the Neatfreak programs. Each has been extremely useful and both are becoming very easy to use and will be placed on all of my Palms. No new Palm (with room for many programs) should be used without the NeatFreak bundle, and it should be the first program loaded on every unit with more than 2 MB of memory.
The support is incredible. As an example, I'm sitting around Friday night and have a question about deleting protected files and e-mail them. Less than 3 minutes later, I received a professional, concise, and instantly effective fix for my problem (which arguably isn't a problem that they would have to deal with) complete with a link to Palm support explaining some of the basics needed for the fix.
Don't use a Palm without it!

Man I love the NeatFreak pack (Cleanup and Uninstal Manager)! It's times like this that I appreciate places like Palm Gear for supplying us with great products and authors that make programs like this! And allowing us to express our true opinions. Seriously. My PDA is kept sooo clean with this pack. I get sick and tired of bad applications that leave remanents all over the place junking up my pda and causing Soft and Hard resets left and right. This pack gets rid of it all (almost anyway) :) I also use Filez and Fileman to finish the rest of what Uninstall manager might have missed. I do wish though that Uninstall manager could also keep preferences in check. It does some but not all. Oh well I guess. I am happy with this app though. I give this 7 stars. Great Job!
